On Wednesday, March 19, the former CEO of the El Aurassi Hotel, “I.A.”, and the hotel’s Finance Director, “K.H.”, will appear before the court on corruption charges that led to the squandering of billions of dinars.
The two defendants will appear before the First Criminal Chamber of the Algiers Judicial Council, charged with squandering significant funds on a project to rehabilitate, refurbish, and begin renovation work on the “El Aurassi” Hotel in Algiers, aiming to upgrade it to a 5-star hotel with international hotel standards.
